No age limit, an apprentice hunter up to the age of 18 must be able to communicate with another licensed deer hunter who is at least 18 years old. Hunter education course is required for anyone who was born on or after December 31, 1986 to get a hunting license in Indiana. (Indiana portion), the Great Miami River, the Ohio River and the portion of the Wabash River that forms a border between Indiana and Illinois. Age Restrictions Effective January 1, 1996, all motorboat or PWC operators must have a valid driver’s license to operate on all Indiana public waters. Any person who is at least 15 years old.
